Dow Jones closes above 10,000; Dollar under pressureFITITOL–>FXstreet.com (C?rdoba) ? U.S. markets finished with sharp gains on Wednesday with the Dow Jones ending above 10,000 for the first time since October of last year. The Nasdaq rose 1.50%. Crude oil finished above $75 a barrel. With rising stocks and optimism Dollar remains under pressure, near year lows.

Lead by financials, stocks rose at Wall Street on optimism about 3Q results. Gold holds near historic highs while crude oil also posted important gains.

Dollar remains under pressure after retreating from year lows. EUR/USD holds above 1.4900 and if stays on top of 1.4920 could rise further. GBP/USD is moving in ranges between 1.5930 and 1.6000. USD/JPY is stable moving around the 89.40 zone. USD/CHF holds at 14-months low below 1.0150.
